  5. staceyj,
    thank you, they are beautiful, it's hard to show all the beauty of nature, even when you try with a photograph.

    Ribbon,
    i always wondered, i thought it was a heart, Where is the center of Australia?
    The lovely Rock?
    the feather is from a raptor, i found it on a trail behind our house. i hope i'll find a kookaburra feather someday, that means i'll be in Australia!

  8. This is not hard to picture. You and Chuck holding hands, strolling barefoot down the empty beach. Waves gently rolling across your feet. Sun, sinking slowly across the crimson horizon. Discovering mementos of a love that was etched in stone....

    Very sweet indeed!

    Rosaria,
    the wind must have headed north then, we have a couple of very rude days, strong wind can be very destructive.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Val,
    they'll last with proper care. try pressing them in a book. metaphor? hopefully not! are the leaves you found Mopane? I have some of those in my journal. They looked like heart/angel wings to me.
    Thanks Natsy,
    as you know, you can never run out of things to photograph at the beach!
    housewife,
    yes, that is seaweed. It is so beautiful I think, I found out that we have over 100 different species on our coast. One time for a class I had to gather 25 different specimens and press them. They looked like art to me. Heart rocks are so charming!
    Thank you Ribbon for taking me along to see those gorgeous birds. I LOVED it.
  22. Now I`ll run to the beach and try to find one for myself! I keep forgetting my camera, but I`ll put everything in my pocket that I find. Yes, look down sometimes, but look UP most of the time! When the wind gets strong and cold again, I`ll send you a warm Polish jacket! Wait till you see Marina`s picture! Hugs to you from Geli
  25. Hi Lori,
    Turn about is fair play right? I so enjoyed coming over to your blog. So many good things to see and read.
    I found a heart shaped potato chip once, but never a heart rock. I think if I walked looking down, I'd walk right into a pole or something!
    From the pictures I thought I recognized San Diego. I wasn't too far off. My daughter lives in the NW also! Small world.
  31. In Nepal, when you find something like that you would put it in your portable shrine. It is a sign that you are following your proper path. Peace and love you you too!
