ALASKA

to the lover of pure wildness alaska is one of the most wonderful countries in the world. no excursion that i know of may be made into any other american wilderness where so marvelous an abundance of noble newborn scenery is so charmingly brought into view... travels in alaska, john muir, 1879

hello and greetings! i hope you are all well. john muir was oh so correct, and if i may, i'd like to add to his description of (our now) 49th state. alaska is spectacular. it is stunning. we were astonished by the grandeur of it all...

i'll be back with more to share. more alaska, and then there are sponsors to welcome, a blog anniversary to celebrate, and a giveaway to host! this is just the tip of the iceberg. it's so good to be back.     :)
