our trip to nyc was so great. the best part was seeing our kids and the next best was the snow which fell for one night and one entire day. then there was the visit to habu textiles and always purl soho.  hannah and chuck took charge of my camera around the wool, and i am grateful, i love the photos and most especially of the men waiting, hee hee. in total there were seven hundred and ninety pictures not counting two rolls of film, taken. that makes this post seem sort of short then?   :)

i carried my (red) heart with me throughout the city, leaving it, at the end of our stay, in an apartment in brooklyn where really and truly, a part of me remains.

  41. i HEART all of your captures. Had to chuckle over the "Ever Thine, Ever Mine, Ever Ours". That quote from Beethoven's letter to his immortal beloved is special to my hubby and I. Ever thine is inscribed on my wedding band. I can tell you loved every minute of the city and your girl!

  44. oh i love this. i feel like i visited with you and it was great to do it through pictures, yours and your families. i liked the one of the men at purl waiting myself. hehe... how many times have i made my guys wait for me? i know these faces well. in half moon bay, ezra was already making plans at a yarn store we popped into with michael to meet me down the street at a bakery. he's learning young. i love the heart all around town - the snowy pictures are surreal - and i do say the pictures of all the LOVE couples warmed my heart. hannah is so pretty and her sweet love has such nice eyes. such a handsome couple and i dig their skinny jeans style. :)
