Dear Lori, what a lovely, lovely, wedding. So many gorgeous things to like. The location is truly magical…the lake… and the cabin, the wild flower bouquets, then the shawl you shared in yarn along…Oh and ‘the something blue’ boots and the lacy tights or stockings…and the enchanted fairy homes (like something out of The Summer Book). And the photos, I especially love the one of the newly weds with their backs to us, gazing over the lake. Your family all look so beautiful (love Hannah’s dresses both of them)…I hope we’ll see some of you with your pretty dress and shoes next time…Thanks for sharing you wonderful day…May everyone live happily ever after…

I was shocked and thrilled to see that your daughter married on the Island of Happy Days. I am originally from Minnesota and have lived for the past 23 years in Santa Barbara. A few summers ago we went home for our annual visit and stayed with family members at Stouts Island Lodge. We found it magical. I wondered if it still was in existence because it was in need of repair while we were there.....glad to see it is as magical as it was when we were there.....
ReplyDeletewhat a small world! it was so beautiful kathie, i was so glad to have found it and really hope to return someday! it truly is a magical place.
DeleteWell it was HIGH time I catch up with your blog Lori! What gorgeousness, what love, what a celebration!! I'm sure you still smile at all the warm and wonderful memories. I sure did looking at all those gorgeous photos. May love continue to be all around your amazing family! A lifetime of happiness to the newlyweds!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend this place if you are thinking about to find a place for your wedding. Me and my husband had our wedding party yesterday at this Place and it was such a wonderful event.
