one hundred things

This is my onehundreth post! I found the perfect way to celebrate the occasion. When I started out blogging I wasn't sure that it would continue past ten or even five posts and now here's One Hundred already. I'll not talk about the many ways in which blogging has changed my life, that would surely deserve a post or two of it's own, but I'd better get on this, reading one hundred things about a person is enough to get through in one post (if you make it to the end!) ...

This meme is from Lola, I think it's called the One Hundred meme, and if you'd like to do it too the directions are below...

The instructions are simple: just copy the list of 100 accomplishments, highlight the ones you've achieved in bold, and elaborate as desired. You can also add color, cool heh? :)

  2. Wonderful, wonderful - I love this post, Lori. Reading about the places you've been, the mountains you've conquered, the oceans you've swam in, the adventures you've been on...I had to read this list twice because it conjures up yet more pictures of the Lori we've all grown to love through the wonders of blogging!

Chuck's article is absolutely stellar! He should write a blog too, you know - he is a magician with words. (Not to mention his brilliant artists' eye with a camera!) I will remember always his the closing words of that piece...'their indelible spirit glowing like a Zimbabwean sunset.' So exactly, perfectly right. (I have such hope for them, Lori - I saw, first-hand, how the Uganadan people rose out of the ashes of Amin's deadly swathe and how they, too, glow with a special spirit and and the sheer joy of life.)

  3. Tessa, those were very adequate words (Ribbon`s, too)!! Yes, please everyone, read Chuck`s article and see his photos (also on his website). He and Lori make such a remarkable couple!
Lori, I did a few things that you haven`t! I swam in the Great Salt Lake, I did! And I rode on an elephant, in the Hamburg Zoo. You are right, too high!! And I also jumped from a ten meter tower into a basin, and that was not even mentioned. But you beat me nevertheless with Whale Watching and seeing Hawaii and many other things.
I don`t know how to copy this from you AND change the colors. But reading yours was lovely enough, thank you! Maybe I`ll make up my own 100 questions?
