one sunshiny daytwo wee girls
three different places.
my friend cheryl and i took a field trip yesterday up california's gaviota coast, to look for a location to take family christmas photos. at the same time, i was looking at potential wedding sites, there
is going to be a new union in our family! we looked here and near here, and stopped at the peace farm, here. at one of the places we looked, the caretaker offered us a ride up to the wedding meadow in his jeep. we were grateful, these two would have had to been carried much of the way.
thank you very much for your kindness on my last post, your sweet words make a little girl like abby blush with delight, and big girls like my daughter and me too.
a wedding meadow - aaaaaaaw lovely!

ReplyDeletethese shots remind me of where i live. i like nothing better than to meander the hills and farm stands. that peace sign is a beauty.
sending you one tsup and three mwahs, lori. :^)
Idyllic! And such sweet photogenic girls too. Your light is just beautiful, to have light like that, and wake up to that sun, you are so fortunate. The countryside reminds me of Spain, where my parents live, and makes me feel homesick for that landscape which I love, even though I'm not actually Spanish, I grew up with that landscape, so it feels very familiar. How exciting, a union/wedding, you must be so excited Lori! Vanessa xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous spaces!! I bet your family photo will be lovely there...and for a wedding, well, it's dreamy really. And just look at your Christmas cactus!! So beautiful. I can't wait for mine to bloom...
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving week Lori!

Oh, Lori, I didn't know about the peace farm! I really want to go. Your photos remind me of Malibu Nature Preserve Also, not sure if you are sticking to Santa Barbara (I mean, why would you ever leave) but we were married here and it was the amazing, most perfect day ever (of course I may be a bit biased:) Our wedding photos are here Happy Thanksgiving!
